Legal and privacy
Privacy notice.
Virtus Group respects your privacy and aims to handle personal information responsibly.
How we process information
Virtus Group processes personal information in line with POPIA (Act 4 of 2013). We only collect information necessary to deliver our services, respond to enquiries, and process Payhip orders. We do not sell your data.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected].
Digital tools and enquiries
Information entered into or shared through a digital tool, enquiry, email, WhatsApp conversation or Payhip transaction may be processed to respond to your request, provide the requested product or service, and maintain appropriate business records.
Depending on the interaction, categories of information may include your name, email address, telephone number, enquiry content, order details and information you choose to provide. Virtus aims to collect only what is reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and to retain it only for as long as reasonably required or legally required.
Third-party platforms and transfers
Payhip, WhatsApp, email providers, social platforms and hosting providers may process information when you use their links or services. Those providers have their own privacy notices and may process information outside South Africa. Do not send sensitive identity, banking or tax records over WhatsApp or ordinary email unless Virtus has agreed a suitable secure method.
Cookies and marketing
This static website does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies. Linked third-party platforms may use their own cookies when you visit them. If Virtus sends direct marketing, you may opt out by replying to the message or emailing [email protected].
Your POPIA rights and complaints
Subject to lawful limits, you may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. For information-access requests and PAIA guidance, visit the PAIA information page. You may also contact the Information Regulator.
Security and incident communication
Virtus takes reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect information, but no internet transmission or third-party platform can be guaranteed completely secure. If a material security incident affects personal information, Virtus will follow applicable notification requirements.
